2. What data we collect

The age calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your date of birth, the calculated results, and any input you provide never leave your device. We do not store, log, transmit, or share anything you enter into the tool.

The only data that reaches our infrastructure providers is what your browser automatically sends when loading any website (IP address, user agent, referring URL, requested page, timestamp).

3. Hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare)

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, operated by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA. Cloudflare automatically processes connection metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL) to deliver the website and protect it from attacks and abuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in operating a secure, performant website).

Cloudflare may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers are protected by Cloudflare's certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. For details, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personally identifiable information. We see only aggregate page views, referrers, and country-level location. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding aggregate site usage).

5. Cookies

This site does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies (e.g., __cf_bm) for bot management and security. These are required to operate the site safely and do not require consent under § 165 TKG and the ePrivacy Directive.

6. Advertising

This site does not currently display third-party advertising. If that changes, this page will be updated and a cookie consent mechanism will be added before any advertising or measurement cookie is set, in line with EU GDPR, Austrian DSG, and § 165 TKG.

7. Data retention

Because the calculator processes everything in your browser, we have no user data to retain. Server-side connection logs handled by Cloudflare are retained according to Cloudflare's own retention policy (typically short-lived for security and operational purposes).
