How the calculation works
Your years, months, and days are computed using calendar arithmetic, not just dividing by averages. We start from your full year, then add the remaining months and days as the calendar measures them. Hours, minutes, and seconds come from the millisecond difference between your birth moment and the target date.
Frequently asked questions
Why are the totals not equal across rows?
Each row shows the same age in a different unit. They are alternative descriptions of the same elapsed time, not separate quantities to add together.
Are leap years handled correctly?
Yes. The calendar logic uses real month and year boundaries, so February 29 birthdays and leap-year-spanning intervals are counted correctly.
Is my birthdate sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser — your date of birth never leaves your device.
